Our Gym

CrossFit Tarpon Springs, Better Than Yesterday Bootcamp and 21-Day Fatloss Fitness Challenge is conveniently located in Palm Harbor, Florida. Our expansive indoor/outdoor facility is just south of Tarpon Springs near the AMC movie theater. Our members join us from the surrounding areas including Dunedin, Oldsmar, Eastlake, Trinity, New Port Richey and Ozona. Our programs are designed and scalable for everyone. We offer the following amenities at our amazing location:

This is not a facility you will walk in and see a coach on their phone coaching a class. This is not a facility that hires every person that walks through the door with the right credentials. This is a facility where we only keep the very best. Our members respect and admire our coaches because they are knowledgeable, tough but fun, and are exactly what you need to power through a workout.

Coach James

Co-Owner

Coach James is a Fitness practitioner. Learning from over a decade of both participating and working in the fitness industry. He has always loved watching people challenge their bodies physically. From gymnastics to breakdancing he was fascinated with the potentials of human movement. So when he found CrossFit a program about testing your fitness and getting more functionally capable overtime he was hooked. Since then he has taken that love for CrossFit and evolved it. Learning about how food and lifestyle decisions can effect ones health and fitness. Then taking that continued knowledge and spreading it to others. Since being one of the Founder Owners of CFTS in 2013 he has helped thousands reach their health and fitness goals. He has a high energy coaching style and can often be seen dancing in between segments when the gym music is jamming.

Coach Steve

Co-Owner

Steve loves to see people work toward goals and then blast them out of the park. He is Co-Owner of Crossfit Tarpon Springs and is a straight shooter. Steve is great for people that need an honest answer as he does not beat around the bush. Steve loves what he does and it is evident in how he remembers his members PR’s, struggles, and goals.

Coach Rebecca

Coach/Fat Loss Fitness Challenge Instructor

Coach Rebecca has been involved since high school in competitive swimming, marathon running, and sprint triathlons until finally falling in love with CrossFit; its methodology, nutrition principles and culture. She actively became a personal trainer back in 2014 at a private personal training studio where she led small group ladies bootcamps, created nutrition seminars, cooking demos and 1:1 personal training sessions. Intrigued by CrossFit in 2016, she tiptoed through the doors of CFTS and never looked back. She not only loved the coaching style, but the education and attention that the members would get to make sure they were exercising safely. She also has a passion for nutrition and has developed programs (before CFTS) to teach others how the food industry manipulates us and how food is medicine. After seeing firsthand all the radical improvements to so many people’s health markers, she knew she wanted to do even more to make an impact. So, it was a natural fit after participating in her first Fat Loss Fitness Challenge at CFTS, that she started coaching her own small groups. Coach Steve noticed her passion and eventually handed the leading and organizing of all of the challenges up to her. She humbly accepted the position! She loves nothing better than to see members come in and, over time, make complete transformations – body, mind & spirit. When you work with her you’ll find that she is all heart and soul for helping you reach your goals.

Coach Sheila

Coach/Fat Loss Fitness Challenge Instructor

During my adolescent days I was a middle school and part of high school athlete. I always enjoyed playing and watching sports and even after an injury I kept up with my fitness in the gym. I found CrossFit Tarpin springs in Nov 2016 after gaining 75 pounds with my pregnancy and fertility treatments. Once my daughter was 8 mos old I knew I was ready to take my health back into my own hands and work on my fitness again. I did my first challenge Jan 2017 and I never looked back. This program has been life changing for myself and for my family. I’m now confident I am raising my daughter in the healthiest environment and teaching her about using foods for fuel, vitamins and minerals to stay healthy. I became extremely passionate about CFTS and eventually obtained my CFL1 certification and started coaching Feb 2020. I then eventually started co-coaching our fat loss fitness challenges and it’s all been so incredibly rewarding. I am extremely passionate about helping people become healthier and obtain their fitness goals.

Coach Danielle

Fitness has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember.  Growing up as a gymnast and then serving in the United States Navy forced me to constantly make my health and fitness a priority.  After leaving the military, I focused on making my love for fitness a career.  I became a CrossFit coach in 2010 and later opened a CrossFit gym in Texas.  Life brought me to Florida with my son in 2018 where I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Management Leadership, found CrossFit Tarpon Springs and started my own mobile Personal Training business.  

I enjoy all things outdoors and living an active lifestyle, so while I’m not working, you can find me scuba diving, spending time on the water with my family, or obsessing over sunsets.  

Coach Eleni

Coach Eleni comes form a lifelong background of sports. As a kid she would participate in any sport she could, her passion being soccer. That type of foundation landed her as a member of Better Than Yesterday bootcamp in 2016. It challenged her the way soccer did & channeled her athleticism from her youth. She quickly committed to 5/6 days a week of training & learned so much along the way. Coaching seemed like a natural fit since she really enjoys getting to know each member and seeing big & small victories. Helping someone with even the smallest tip & seeing it change how they approach a move is a rewarding feeling. She truly gets excited to see members crush their goals & push themselves past what they even knew possible!

Coach Chet

Hi, I’m Coach Chet and I’ve been going to CrossFit Tarpon Springs for 4 years now and fell in love with it from the time I did my first WOD. I have been lifting and training since 13 years of age. Learning from my pops, I came to understand the importance of discipline that goes with training; sometimes, even if you don’t want to train at the moment, when you are done, the satisfaction you get from finishing is truly rewarding.

I have always enjoyed strength training the most and my favorite part of CrossFit is Olympic lifting–the raw power and precise placement of body to bar is extremely enriching. Additionally, the comradery, accountability, and the competitive atmosphere keep me engaged and coming back for more!

I keep my health and wellness first and CrossFit Tarpon Springs is par none. Here, you can learn the skills, techniques and health knowledge that will change your entire outlook on living a healthy lifestyle. In fact, I would go as far as to see life-saving. So, stop-in and say “Hi!,” enjoy a great workout and you will have wished you came in sooner!

My name is Kim, I have always enjoyed being active, but did not necessarily play sports. I walked in to Crossfit Tarpon Spring’s 5 years ago to join the fatloss challenge and try something outside of my comfort zone. I got a membership and completely fell in love with the lifestyle and haven’t looked back. I was so excited to get the opportunity to move into a coaching roll as it is so much fun to get to know the members and what their goals are. Seeing the members in the classes working hard to reach their goals inspires me also!

Erin joined Better Than Yesterday Bootcamp/CrossFit Tarpon Springs over 5 years ago and quickly fell in love with the workout programming and the people! She says, “bootcamp has always been so welcoming and accessible, and CrossFit is always challenging and fun. I truly value the physical, mental, and nutritional benefits of working out here!” Over the last year she has stepped up her commitment to her fitness and now she’s committed to helping you step up yours.

Erin likes to focus on good form and good breathing during a workout and appreciates the mind-body connection. “I think it’s important to practice gratitude and mindfulness in our daily routines and I would love the opportunity to get to know every member here!”
