Our Foundations program will be focused on skill development and exposure to CrossFit’s foundational movements over a 2 week period with 3 classes per week. This program is designed to prepare you to effectively enter our ongoing group classes.
We will place a heavy emphasis on technique to make sure that you perform the movements safely and to provide the proper building blocks for your CrossFit journey. We will focus on technique first, then consistency and only after you can effectively demonstrate both will we introduce intensity. We will be starting with relatively non-technical movements and progressing to more technical movements over the course of the program.
It’s important that you are here for each of the 6 sessions as these movements will build on one another. If you miss more than the one class, we’d like for you to make it up next time it’s taught, but we encourage you to make all the classes. There will be a workout at the end of each day which will become increasingly more challenging as the course progresses. All of the workouts will be scalable for your abilities, but you will be encouraged to push yourselves as much as you can.
